About the photographer
Nilgün Akpınar
I was born in İstanbul in 1959. After graduating from Journalism in İstanbul University, I had education of color design in London. I pursued my professional life by working as a designer in my own company for years. In the same time, I was interested in sociology and psychology and performed works as a breath therapist. Besides oil color education with Temur Köran, I had documentary photography education from Özcan Yurdalan. I am pursuing my photography education with Niko Guido in two different projects.
