About the photographer

Yeşim Sayınsoy

I was born in December, 1962. My interest in photography started during my travels abroad. At the beginning, I was taking photos just to document my memories.

Later, I took a photography course in Niko Guido's “Look at Life Differently” workshop to try to improve myself. Photography is among the interests that I enjoy most. I am interested in reverse light, silhouette and black-and-white techniques. After the course, I found that photography has become a passion for me. That's the reason why I have decided to become a “14 Cities” project photographer for both improving my skills more and having photos at the Istanbul photography archive. I am still taking part in many projects.
